Join us for a short informational on the upcoming L.E.A.P program hosted by UT Austin McCombs School of Business (Dallas) MBA Students. This is a great opportunity for small businesses located spcifically South Dallas to recieve hands on pro-bono consulting services from some of the most high performing MBA students from the University of Texas. There is also an opportunity to pitch for prize money at the conclusion of the program!

What is LEAP?
LEAP is a signature program of the Herb Kelleher Center in partnership with the UT Blackstone LaunchPad Program, the MBA+ Program and the BBA Advisory Board.
Why LEAP?
Entrepreneurs gain access to top-notch talent and expert advice over a meaningful amount of time to help them develop their startups, including increasing the viability of their startup and positioning it for growth. It is essential that LEAP companies have a resource available for some dedicated time throughout the semester to work with the student team.
Students gain first-hand experience in the key aspects of new venture acceleration, including sharpening an idea, establishing product-market fit, building the team, marketing, handling legal issues, and fine-tuning a business model
Entrepreneurs-In-Residence (HK center) provide guidance to students by applying their knowledge of new ventures
What Companies are Eligible to Apply?
Companies with a Co-Founder who is from an under-represented group (i.e. women, African American, Hispanic American, low economic means, or headquartered in a rural location).
Companies that have some operating history with a scalable, job-producing business strategy.

Fall 2017 Timeline
- Project Kickoff: September 6, 2017
- Project Duration: ~2.5 months
- Demo Day: November 16, 2017 (tentative)
- A similar timeline will be used for Spring 2018 (Feb- mid April)
