About the Financial Readiness Program


The Financial Readiness Program is a 6-week program designed for early to growth stage businesses preparing for growth through customer or capital acquisition. The program focuses on core business and financial principles to help you develop a comprehensive plan for your business to secure funding or increase revenue.

This 6-week virtual program covers the following topics:

  • Business Model Validation
  • Sales & Brand Positioning
  • Understanding Financial Statements
  • Building Financial Projections
  • Storytelling & Pitching
  • Legal/Due Diligence Readiness
  • Building Your Team
  • Capital Readiness

Eligible participants must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be a for-profit business
  • Owned and operated by underestimated entrepreneur (i.e. Women, Person of Color, Veteran, or Low-to-moderate individuals)
  • Minimum of 2 years in business with at least $25K in revenue or 2+ employees
  • Willingness and availability to commit 10-12 hours a week on their business
